GREEK-ISLAND-GUIDE started as a simple idea: put together, in one place, the kind of practical, honest information we wished we had the first time we tried to plan an island-hopping trip through Greece — which ferry to take, which village to base ourselves in, and which beaches were actually worth the detour.

Today the guide covers dozens of islands across every major group — the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, the Ionian Islands, Crete, the Sporades, the Saronic Islands and the North Aegean — along with Athens and Thessaloniki, since most island-hopping trips start or end in one of the two.

We keep the writing straightforward rather than promotional, and we credit every photograph we use, since we believe a travel guide should be trustworthy first and beautiful second. We're always adding new destinations, so if there's an island you'd like to see covered, we'd love to hear about it.
